B'Mitzvah Honors Form

 

Parents of the B’Mitzvah are responsible to make certain all who receive aliyot are prepared in advance to chant or read the blessings in Hebrew. Cantor Steve will provide any and all blessings well in advance to allow time to practice. 

Please leave any 2 aliyot unassigned to be given to congregants observing a special occasion

The Seventh Aliyah is typically given to the parents

The Maftir Aliyah, the Haftarah Blessings, and the Haftarah reading are for the B’Mitzvah. 

Siblings who have participated in religious school are encouraged to participate, such as reading from torah and leading prayer.  Jewish friends and relatives are also welcome to read from the Torah. Please speak with Cantor Steve for more information.
